Our time in the United States has been an opportunity to enjoy the immense grace and goodness of God. Today as we are preparing to return to our country, we thank God and you for the support and love that we received from each individual, church, presbytery, and person of General Assembly, McCormick and CRLN who welcomed us as part of the family of faith in Jesus Christ.
We wish to share our gratitude to God and to you with the following prayer:
By your grace and goodness oh God, brothers and sisters of the PC (USA) accompanied and sheltered us in times of fear to make us feel safe and protected from threats and danger that we were living in Colombia.
By your grace and goodness oh God, people and churches supported us so that we could live with everything that we needed as part of the family of faith that is the PC (USA).
By your grace and goodness oh God, the seminaries offered us study to advance our pastoral training and thus we have strengthened our vocation and commitment to proclaim the good news of the gospel.
By your grace and goodness oh God, churches and presbyteries received us to share the situation of displaced people in Colombia. In them, we have seen the solidarity with those who suffer most in our country.
By your grace and goodness oh God, our faith has grown. This prompts us to return to our country to share the gifts that we have received with the Presbyterian Church of Colombia and the communities that still suffer poverty and violence. Amen.
We know that you are asking and are concerned about the dangers in our return to Colombia. We know that the situation in our country is still difficult but we are trusting in God who has protected us and who will continue to shelter our lives from all threats.
The grace and goodness of God that we have shared among you will allow to us be in the communion of the Holy Spirit, to continue working together for the hope of justice and peace in Colombia.

Nuestro tiempo en Estados Unidos ha sido una oportunidad para disfrutar de la inmensa bondad y de la gracia de Dios a través de la forma como nos recibieron y nos han apoyado durante el tiempo que hemos vivido entre ustedes. Hoy cuando estamos preparando el regreso a nuestro país nosotros agradecemos a Dios y a ustedes por su acompañamiento y por el amor que recibimos de cada persona, las iglesias, los presbiterios, el personal de la Asamblea General, McCormick y CRLN quienes nos acogieron como partes de la familia de la fe en Jesucristo.
Deseamos compartir nuestra gratitud a Dios y a ustedes por medio de la siguiente oración:
Por tu gracia y bondad oh Dios, hermanos y hermanas de la PC (USA) nos acompañaron y protegieron en tiempos de miedo para hacernos sentir seguro y protegidos ante las amenazas y el peligro que estábamos viviendo en Colombia.
Por tu gracia y tu bondad oh Dios, personas e iglesias nos apoyaron y sostuvieron para que pudiéramos vivir con todo lo necesario como parte de la familia de fe que es la PC (USA).
Por tu gracia y tu bondad oh Dios, instituciones educativas nos ofrecieron estudios para cualificar nuestra formación pastoral y de esta manera hemos afirmado nuestra vocación y compromiso con la proclamación de las buenas nuevas del evangelio.
Por tu gracia y bondad oh Dios, iglesias y presbiterios nos recibieron para compartir sobre la situación de las personas desplazadas en Colombia. En ellos nosotros hemos vistos la solidaridad con quienes más sufren en nuestro país.
Por tu gracia y tu bondad oh Dios, nuestra fe ha crecido. Esto nos mueve a regresar a nuestro país para compartir los regalos que hemos recibido con la Iglesia Presbiteriana de Colombia y con las comunidades que siguen sufriendo la pobreza y la violencia. Amén.
Conocemos que ustedes se preguntan y están preocupados sobre los peligros a nuestro regreso a Colombia. Nosotros conocemos que la situación en nuestro país sigue difícil pero estamos confiando en Dios quien nos ha protegido y quien continuara liberando nuestras vidas de todo amenaza.
La gracia y la bondad de Dios que hemos compartido entre ustedes nos permitirán estar en la comunión del Espíritu Santo para seguir trabajando juntos por la esperanza de justicia y paz en Colombia.
